It’s a part of the very essence of the Jordan Spiz’ike to borrow from the Air Jordan Legacy, so while utilizing an Air Jordan VII OG colorway is unprecedented, it’s not entirely unexpected. We’ve seen ‘Cool Grey’ and ‘Stealth’ editions reach beyond the (III-VI) + IX formula, so this new Bordeaux colorway now becomes the latest in a growing line of appropriated palettes and is instantly the most different of the bunch when compared to its inspiration. They offer more of a combination of Bulls and Tar Heels colors thanks to a truer red relative to the wine-colored shade for which the AJ7s were named; would you have preferred the traditional shade to this updated look? Check them out in greater detail after the jump and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for the ‘Bordeaux’ Spizike release date. via MarqueeSole
