We haven’t seen much from the Nike Zoom Kobe VII until Sneaker News showed you the jaw-dropping Treasure Blue ‘Shark’ colorway earlier today. We alluded to a ‘Pack’ of Kobe VII colorways, with each colorway represented by a particular animal that matches Kobe’s on-court ferocity and demeanor. The ‘Wolf’ could also be used to describe Kobe’s persona; he’s a relatively private guy who has stayed away from the off-season All-Star Charity game charades and has distanced himself from the clique of NBA superstars. While he’s among the league’s elite, we often forget that Kobe’s got a few years on LeBron, Wade, Melo, and CP3 (and the Championship Rings as well), and did in fact play in the Jordan Bulls era (albeit for a short time) and boasts a superstardom that transcends two generations of NBA fandom. THESE WOULDVE BEEN BETTER AS THE 6'S IMO. COMPARE THE 5'S TO THESE AND YOU'D SEE WHY. THE 6'S SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE 7'S. THESE WOULD HAVE FIT BETTER IN THAT ORDER.

Definitely one of the best colorways I've seen in the new Kobe, but it just isn't worth that much to me at all.

The shark CW is dope AF and im diggin this one too...Lets be honest tho, the name Black Mamba and then this whole animal shoe concept is corny and you know it. Not to mention this shoe is plain AF and the back is just weird and ugly

I think the Kobe Vi was the most popular Basketball sneaker of this year. Still not feeling this new silhouette, taking time to get used to that back half with the block-like triangular shapes/cuts which look a bit ugly. But damn, what a nice cw.

Cool but I still hate the horizontal fly wire.
It's actually there for a reason, and it isn't flywire! It's to make the snake skin design, look at the bird's eye view angle and you'll see what I'm talking about.
That's technically not flywire -- you can see the flywire running diagonally to the lace eyelets underneath the horizontal texture.
