The Air Jordan 2011 was a success for a number of reasons; it was comfortable, thanks to the interchangeable Quick/Explosive cushion system, and when worn casually, the shoe looked great. It was a definitely a nice come-back from the Air Jordan 2009 and 2010, both of which were comfortable and aesthetically ground-breaking while lacking the street-sensibility, so what’s in store for the Air Jordan 2012? Sneaker News has shown you images and information regarding the Air Jordan 2012 (quickly removed due to specific requests), and right off the bat, there’s a strong ‘luxury’ connotation with the design, with the upper leather panels bordered with wing-tip-esque perforations that accentuate the design. This will probably be the ugliest colorway ever to debut of this style. Please believe...the other colorways will be fire. The design and attention is very nice on the other colorways. Why did they use some of the same detain on these as they did the Reebok Kamikaze's (which I still want to be retroed)?
At first glance, I was like "ugh". Then I looked at them again and noticed the wingtip detailing. Then I got it. They were going for the 'Lux' effect. Now I like the show but I would love to see it in a Black colorway or even a brown colorway. Nice placement of the flywire too. I'm not really a fan of flywire because I think it looks terrible on most shoes but I like the use of it here.

Some crappy bullshit right here. If you look closely, there's not a single thing there that makes sense in terms of performance. The insoles were done last year, the exterior wasn't well thought of, and that bootie right there, I bet JB just added that on for it to look like they tried.. won't even work, too much movement. GOOD THING IS THAT THE LEATHER IS ON POINT LOL
Foamposite-esque silhouette...in other colorways and NOT choked-up/tied so tight these could look HOTT IMO.

I've really like the last 3 Legacy models, but these really strike me as boring. Nothing really seems to set them off as special. Pretty disappointing. Maybe a different CW will change my mind, but I doubt it. Oh well...here's to hoping the 2013's are bomb!!!
