As promised just a short while ago, here’s a look at January 2012′s Nike SB Quickstrike footwear. For those of you who might be novices to the sneaker game, a Quickstrike means these two pairs are released in limited numbers, and available in-store only. For experienced sneakerheads, it means extra collectability and often signals top-tier construction and materials. Both of next month’s pairs echo one of the trends we’ve seen in early ’12 previews, namely a reliance upon black as the centerpiece of a series of simple colorways. For the Nike SB Dunk High Pro, it’s a tumbled Clay suede atop crisp black nubuck, while the Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid SB switches its black upper to suede and goes with a gum brown vulcanized sole. Peep both up close after the jump but you’ll have to head out to your local SB shop like Premier to get these, and don’t wait too long or they’ll be gone!
