Air Jordan 8.0 ‘Aqua’ – New Images

If the Air Jordan VIII Aqua traveled 19 years into the future, it would see its ‘doppleganger’ in the Air Jordan 8.0. Featuring some structural upgrades like the breathable mesh panels and Flywire-laden crossing mid-foot straps, the Air Jordan 8.0 captures both the nostalgic flavor and new-age design that has been the formula for most of Jordan Brand’s non-Retro releases over the last few years. Set to release this January, 2012, the Air Jordan 8.0 ‘Aqua’ features the paint-splatter bumper that extends to the midfoot, which doubles as a spring plate for performance-friendly push. We’ve got additional images for you after the jump, so take a look and let us know if this ‘Aqua’ colorway provides some ‘umph’ to this new model.

jordan should hire new people to do these updated versions of classics. I coulda done these wayyy better
These are nice, they're not a bad idea to cop espically if your real aquas have any kind of paint chip
Not bad. I have the retros but I'd cop these if I didn't. Best colorway of the 8.0 by far. Still nothing close to the classic tho.
I agree these nice buy not for 160, these are made for hooping in. Now just release the retro
pretty sure they are actually $150..not that much of a difference but it does put some distance between it and true retros..
The aqua pattern should be a lil bit more true to the original... looks like finger paint splatter

07 donkey. it's way too soon to be dropping them again. There should be at least 10 years in between retros. Too much other stuff that hasn't dropped in a while.

I actually sold my aquas for $40. My friend saw them and asked what size and then he asked how much do you want for em so i just gave them to him right there for $40. im not into sneaker collecting like you fags, i just buy whats right. my friend usually wears these shitty ass ugly ass 90's but i gave him some heat... btw, we were in gym class so i had extra shoes :P
