During his time in the NBA, Sir Charles was a man who demanded attention both and off the court. His forceful style and in-your-face personality made him a superstar, a wave he’s still riding today with his various commentating gigs. Of course also essential to his style was the sneakers, as he locked down a few signatures for himself as one of Nike Basketball’s frontrunners in the 90’s, repping the Swoosh to no end as in the Reebok jacket controversy of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Complex has compiled a gallery of Charles Barkley sneaker shots for your view pleasure, a timeline that starts out with him rocking Converse basketball models before he made the transition to Nike’s Force series and his own signature sneaks like the Nike Air Max CB 34 later on. The tail end of the selection even includes some middle-era Jordan Brand heat, with the Mound Round of Rebound rocking the Air Jordan XIV and the ‘Cool Grey’ Jordan XI. Get a sample of the heat after the jump and hit up Complex for the full feature.
Yes people after all these years im coming out the closet. Im GAY! i talk trash because im insecure about myself. I love men!!
those cool greys just fell all the way off the market now that "fat boy" wears them. He was a MUCH better player than michael jordan. Dont worry charels barkely, its ok that u dont have a ring. Lebron James will join you in about 4 years!!!
Lol Mann Charles Barkley was a FOO and still is on that one show....Nice Nice shoes too and he shows respect by wearing Jordans too!! RNS
Sir Charles is still my favorite basketball player of all time. He was hard body on the court and funny off of it. The "I am not a role model" commercial is still a classic
hahaha first pic reminds me of this dude at the gym, he trains in retros all the time...and he beats the hell outta em within a month! you name it, space jams, true blues, infrared 6's - Ive seen em all on this guy and he just kicks around weights with em and shit like nobody's business. (I dunno why would anyone really want to train in basketball shoes though, I've always preferred having the grounded feeling)
