Nike SB Dunk Vulc
January 4th, 2012 by Aaron Hope | 6 comments

This latest piece of Sneaker News can be filed under ‘long overdue’, given how many different connections were in place without this particular configuration being released until 2012. The Dunk has been done by Nike Sportswear with vulcanized soles in recent years, as have a number of successful Nike SB models. But the Nike SB Dunk stayed true to its cupsole, only adding an improved material composition and updated traction pattern early last year along with a few hidden improvements. But with an apparent reorganization of SB and Nike 6.0 looming, and Six themselves offering the autoclaved Dunk SE 6.0, this now becomes a shoe that pretty much has to happen. The Dunk SB Vulc sticks to its guns with a Zoom Air-enhanced insole, though, despite many Swoosh skateboarding models making the jump to LunarLon. Did they make the right choice, or would you rather have seen some combination of the classic cupsole and/or a LunarLon footbed? Let us know when you click through to see more of this crisp black and white pair and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date. via N-SB

This is a good idea but bad news. First they bring us a blazer cs, amazing...Then took it away. Then the Salazar, an excellent skate shoe...Now vulc. Its hard enough to get the newer dunks coming in here in the UK. Please SB, leave this solid-soled gem alone...
skaters will love these. hypekids will scream oh no.
NOOOOOO! This is worse than skinny tongues. smh Nike
For hypebeast yeah the skinny tongues were worst, but the skinny tounge's were a lot more comfier to skate in so smh to you.
I would rather SB and 6.0 didn't rip ideas from each other... were the Autoclaves even selling?
NO! Please don't bastardize the one shoe we have left without a vulc sole!
