Do we have a sleeper in our hands? These ‘themed’ releases typically do well with Sportswear models, but this year’s ‘Year Of The Dragon’ collection should prove that Nike has no hesitation about using these tradition-based styles with its newer performance models. Check out the Nike Trainer 1.3 Low ‘Year Of The Dragon’; paired with the poignant White/Black/Red colorway is a speckled midsole and dotted laces, but what really sets this YOTDragon off is the molded heel, which offers a unique texture to the touch. Add in the yin-yang-inspired double Mortal Kombat-esque logo on the tongue and the Chinese characters on the back face of the tongues and you have another fire-breather of a Year Of The Dragon release. Check out the additional angles after the jump and let us know what you think, and we’ll let you know if and when these hit retail in the states. via kicks-crew.
