Today marks the Chinese New Year, the most traditionally significant Chinese holiday. Also caalled the Spring Festival, the Chinese New Year is also signified by the twelve animals representing the Chinese Zodiac, with 2012 falling on ‘Dragon’, symbolizing a number of proud characteristics. Here we get another detailed look at the Nike Trainer 1.3 commemorating the prized animal of ’12; the simple White/Black/Red colorway is given a punch with the molded leather dragon graphics on the heel and the special edition detailing on the tongue, insole, and logos behind the tongue. Best Year Of The Dragon release of 2012? These certainly have enough to qualify for that crown. We’ve got a detailed set of images for you below so take a look and hit up Asian retailer RMK to get yours.
