It’s clear that the latest Jordan Spiz’ike is more of a reinterpretation than a direct borrowing from the legendary OG Air Jordan VII for which it’s named, but if the ‘Bordeaux’ Spizike is good enough for President Barack Obama, it’s good enough for your average sneakerhead. Spike Lee himself gifted the Prez with a special wooden package including the upcoming Spiz’ike release, and while we’ll never have a chance at that special laser-etched box, the shoe itself that comes roughly a year after last the long awaited AJ7 Retro will be yours for the taking from select Jordan Brand retailers in just over a week, next Saturday, February 4th.
