The Air Jordan 1 Phat is a model you tend to see replicated in a few different colorways of a particular theme whenever they pop up every quarter or so. The style for spring 2012 offers a full grain leather atop multilayered mesh, plus a Elephant print Swoosh on a two-toned colorway plus white midsole. It’s a formula that worked to perfection on the black and Action Green joints that just dropped, and while the Cool Grey and Uni Blue makeup that we previewed alongside those before the turn of the year that we still have yet to see again, there’s another representing this breathable style for spring. The AJ1 Phat really gets at the earliest part of the Air Jordan Legacy thanks to a Varsity Red construction plus Cool Grey accents that echo the AJIII’s unique sense of balance.
