Nike LunarGlide+ 4

As Air Max continues to successfully run its course, Lunar follows along at a rapid pace . The two groundbreaking technologies have made their marks in the same sports and athletic circles, but operates on a slightly different plane of existence; Lunar, of course, alludes to the weightless nature of outer-space, defying gravity while staying earthbound, and since the debut of the original LunarGlide in 2009, Nike Lunar has gone where no other Nike Running technology has gone before and has made its own footprints above the Earth’s atmosphere.

Today, Nike Running introduces the LunarGlide+ 4, which maintains a curb-weight reduced by 18% from the LG+ 3 thanks to the springy, dual-layer LunarLon outsole and dynamic Flywire, and the new Flywire actually extends to the exterior and acts as the lace eyelets for the shoe, guaranteeing a glove-like fit. Its ultra-lightweight and responsiveness will only further the legacy of the best-selling Nike LunarGlide+ series, and should be one of the marquee releases of the Summer 2012 season. Continue reading for a detailed look at the LunarGlide+ 4 and stick with Sneaker News as we will preview upcoming colorways and releases of the Nike LunarLon Collection.

  1. Flywire Says:

Stop squatting to pee when you make your weak comments and then you will be a dog. Fly wire is just string in its basic form.

  2. Jer Dawg Says:

Looks very sleek these are. Makes me want to get a scissor and cut the "flywire" which are nothing but strings

  3. String Says:

If that is all it is, why don't you tell that to the shoe designers at Nike who have spent millions developing this "string?"
