Kobe Bryant took the court this week with a new look that has earned him a new nickname – the Masked Mamba. After suffering a freak injury during the NBA All-Star Game (it was an accident, right Dwyane?), Kobe was forced to get his Rip Hamilton on and wear the clear Zorro mask for the game, but it seemed to bode well for Kobe and the Lakers as they easily handled the energetic Timberwolves by a margin of 19 points. Although it hasn’t been scientifically proven if the mask gave Kobe a boost in performance, we know for sure that this other piece of hardware – the Nike Zoom Kobe VII Elite – will send the Black Mamba to another level of play. I want to see if the full length zoom air is actually full length zoom air. I was disappointed to see the original Play Fast version with a skimpy piece of forefoot zoom air. that was only like 4MM thick or something! I thought Kobe's in forefoot had 8-10MM in forefoot!

I'm not one for fuckishly high prices put on shoes... but that gold on the check looks majestic. Kobe's line is still underrated in my book.

Probably the MOST DECENT Kobe 7 release but a $200 price tag is too steep although you're paying for a full length Zoom technology here. However, I am already broke with all these sick releases since the Christmas edition pack. SMH.
