Nike SB has managed to bogart April’s sneaker headlines in each of the last two years thanks to Todd Bratrud’s herbally-infused Dunk High SB ‘Skunk’ and ‘Cheech & Chong’ designs. Nothing like that has come onto the radar as of yet, so both in terms of its media presence and the actual design, this upcoming Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski in Birch and Noble Green represents a more low key approach. These imply a certain hempiness with their earthy build, and keeping the green hits restrained to accent areas ensures that the shoe comes in contact with the unavoidable theme while echoing skateboarding’s newly refined aesthetic.
