The obsessive desire to capitalize on detail and design has resulted in footwear products that give its marquee athletes clear advantages in performance and output, but trust us – it’s all legal. Today, Nike introduces the Nike Basketball Elite Series – a trio of supercharged and juiced up Nike Basketball models solidified with proven design function and engineering. Here we have a first look at the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite in the ‘Home’ colorway; carbon fiber is the primary upgrade in build for the mid-foot shanks and heel counters, allowing the shoes to be even lighter and more responsive, with the LeBron 9 in particular utilizing a carbon fiber piece that flows from the heel all the way to the wing.
The collar is also fortified with strategically placed Nike Pro Combat-inpsired padding. The Nike Basketball Elite Series in both the ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ versions are anchored by gold detailing, inspired by the championship trophy and the highest level of success. 250 is alot, but great quality though
The price is high, but I really like the way it looks and the technology applied. I hope I can get it for retail price, or at least not higher than $300.

Incase yall didnt know Nike said there NOT releasing another south beach colorway so unless these come on ID(doubtful) you wont get them unless you try to get these and custom them but on anothe note these are dope if i get the chance i woud get them to ball in

If yall think about it this shit looks just like the Penny 5's... The high ass ankle support and the curvy design going down the foot... this shit look just like da Penny's just in white and a few minor exterior design element changes like da ridges on da heel.... Either way... im on the fence bout deez... I want da Summit Lakes but unless deez come in more compelling colorways this will not be in my closet... im not paying for performance cuz im not gon ball in em so the best looking colorway will win and this 1 is lacking
Funny thing is u guys rather pay $250 for a pair of XI with half assed quality then pay $250 for a shoe that actually has up to date Nike technology and has quality materials. I don't get it. Or better yet ya quick to go drop $250 on the yezzy 2! Lol
All of the modern Nike technology in one shoe (minus lunarlon)... its nice! but not on price...

Man it took a while for the 9's to grow on me, and that was only after a few clean color ways. But this version just seems like a huge step down in style. I'm sure the performance is great but 'Bron's shoes have always been about equal performance and style. I agree w cheesePOOF, damn shame if he wins a ring in these eye sores.
These will sell out instantly. If idiots will buy $170 lebrons for $220+, why wouldn't they buy $250 lebrons for $250? The one good thing is the middle man (re-seller) will be left out in most cases now. Personally, I'd rather have the Freegums right now (on sale)!

These are definitely a nice upgrade, but Nike needs to go somewhere with that $250 price tag. Sorry, but the sum total of the upgrades DO NOT warrant a $80 price hike.
