New Balance CM1600

New Balance now offers an unprecedented variety of classic runners with seemingly more being added by the day, a change evident in the fact that just a short while ago, a search for ‘New Balance 1600′ would have likely been a typo trying to find either the cult favorite 1500 or the recently reintroduced 1700. Not so after today, now that the New Balance CM1600 will return in the Heritage Blue edition pictured above. These will help get younger sneakerheads better accustomed to this model that soon followed the 1500s in 1989 (and we’re all familiar with that hit-filled year’s 577s), a Heritage Blue suede build all at once eye-catching and classic NB at its elegant best. Check them out in greater detail after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for US release info. via mita sneakers

Whilst not comparing to the USA or UK made (although UK has been slipping lately), Asian made NB's are still better than most other sneaker brands in terms of quality. Just because something is made in China, Vietnam or Thailand etc... does not mean it is automatically of poor quality. It all depends on how much the brand is paying the factory they're outsourcing their manufacturing too. To the guy who said Nike are the exception... wow.
yup
These would have been nice not made in asia, but being so rare, i will at least give them a go.
Made in USA or Made in China?
china. it would say it on the shoe if it was made in USA.
Thanks. I am avoiding Chinese-made sneaker products b/c they easily break. I buy New Balance that are Made in USA and England only. It's quality is unquestionable. Nikes are the only exception.
does anyone have any idea when the new new balance 1600 in red suede comin up? pls answer to coach@wydner.com
That is the most hypocritical thing I have ever heard. @boycott_nike
LOL, easily break...you buy glass shoes? Nikes are the worst when it comes to quality...hypocritical much?
