Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Slate Blue’
April 11th, 2012 by Aaron Hope | 16 comments

In July 2008, Nike SB dropped a Dunk High whose colorway and blocking pattern so strongly resembled an ’03 collabo that folks started calling them ‘Un-Futura’. This turned out to be one of the earliest examples of a trend we’ve seen amplified in the last year-plus, whereby Swoosh skateboarding ports over classic colorups, and with Dunks it’s usually a palette from one of the other silos. The upcoming release pictured above is a Nike SB Dunk Low just like Futura’s noteworthy collaboration, and thanks to the combination of rich blue suede along with black and white elements, it’s natural to see them as connected to Nike SB’s relatively short yet exceptionally rich history. Check these out up close below and stick with Sneaker News for release info. Photos: Kasina

They look like reverse chromeballs
"Futura 2's", huh? Preferred them when they had the gum soles
dope!
not a bad SB, waiting for those supremes to drop tho
these are cool but the gum bottom woulda set these all the way off
See you soon shoes, when you release
Wow they litteraly just had these, the blue was just a bit darker and they had a woodgrain pattern on the sidepanel but pretty much the same damn thing
Why would they get rid of the gum sole from the sample??? These look really clean, but would look 10x better with the gum sole.
every pic has a gum sole.........................look closer..
YES!!!!! clean so clean these are mine
What happend to the gum sole???!
yeah, I was waiting for these but with GUM SOLE!!
Decent effort by SB. I must see what the materials look like in person.
