Nike Basketball Elite Series – Release Reminder
Tomorrow, Nike’s greatest basketball athletes of this generation will embark upon a no-looking-back journey with one goal in mind – gold. LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Blake Griffin are all depended on by their teams to lead, and each does it in distinct ways; LeBron uses his athleticism and all-around game to get his team involved, Kobe utilizes his experience and ability to handle the pressure, while Blake will be a step further than his opponents with his unmatched energy. All three players will utilize the Nike Basketball Elite Series line of footwear, strengthened with carbon fiber, Kevlar, and Flywire. You two can join the cause by getting the entire Elite Series on your feet tomorrow, as select Nike Basketball retailers will have these high-end top-flight basketball sneakers in stock. Both the Home and Away renditions of the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite, Nike Zoom Kobe VII Elite, and Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Elite are all hitting stores tomorrow, so don’t miss out by copping your pair in-store tomorrow morning or right now on eBay.

I copped both Lebrons and the Kobe aways. I gotta say, I think I like the Kobes best. The white Lebrons were a bit of a disappointment for me. They looked way better in pics to me. They're nice...just not as nice as I expected based on the pics. The carbon fiber doesn't really make the gold swoosh stand out like I had hoped. The thing I love about the Kobes is the upper. It's very clean looking. I'm honestly considering sending back the white Lebrons and getting the Kobes in white. If I'm being totally honest though, the quality for the price doesn't seem like it's there...there is very visible glue around the heel cap on the Kobes. The quality of all of the shoes seems like any other shoe with the exception of the laces.....I haven't tried them on yet so I can't speak on the fit.
i want SN to deconstruct these and put them side by side to the regular ones to see what nike actually did to these.
I know they did it to the Concords, but you want them to take a knife to a $250 retail shoe? I HIGHLY doubt that. If you really want to look at the technology piece by piece, go look at Sole Collector, even though there's no comparison. At least one that I know of.
why don't you do it? better yet, why don't you read about them. you don't even own a pair, so why are you so concerned?
lol @ the haters. the Lebrons sure did sell out pretty fast. I hope none of you really expected these to "sit on the shelves". have fun paying $400+ on ebay.
i got both kobe elite home and road...road gettin shipped to me..got homes tonight from my manz!!!! so pumped!
Not this time. I'll pass and save money and not fall into a trap of pairs of sneakers carrying hefty tag prices. If it's in the $150 range I might consider.
the white lebrons are a sleeper. that gold flake in the clear outsole makes them stand out. the shoe does not look that impressive in pics, but in person, they are pretty awesome. ,maybe not worth the price tag, but probably the cleanest lebron 9 yet.
none of these sold out at my hoh in charlotte smh nike no one is payin these prices how u go from a 170 to a 250 n the 170 looks better smh n the kobes went from 140 to 200 n dey didnt even have any major changes
the kobes are still around everywhere, at least in LA. the white lebron is mostly sold out at all spots and some places still have odd sizes of the black lebrons left over. i think the fewest places ordered the white hyperdunk though. those might be hard to find if you sleep on them and want them later.
