Is the Nike Zoom Kobe VII Elite Series and its accompanying $200 price-tag too rich for your blood? While Kobe has graduated from the ‘System’ to Elite, there are still more ‘System’ releases to be had, like this Saturday’s drop of the Poison Dart Frog in the ‘Lakers’ colorway and this upcoming Concord/White-Cool Grey-Del Sol release. We’ve previewed this colorway before, but with a firm release date now set at May 19th, are these a must-have for you? Of course, these are likely not the final Kobe VII release, as the Kobe line typically spills over deep into the Fall months leading up to the launch, which typically occurs in December. More shots of this upcoming colorway below, so take a look and circle your calendars for May 19th.

The VII's are a great shoe, it's the color blocking and colorways that Nike really dropped the ball on. There's so many good colorways that could of released, but they chose to tape a step back on the Kobe VII's after producing so many good colors for the Kobe IV, V, And VI's and pushed the Lebron line and KD line even more this year. Lebron line got more colorways on the IX's than ever before as well as the KD's.
this is a waste of a cw...should have dropped the purple inks he rocked game 2 but that is just me..dope cw!! wonder what he rocks game 3...elite pe road??
Does anybody really like the ZOOM 7 over the ZOOM 6? Kobe should'a stuck with the mamba. I mean even for the Elite's they went back to the Zoom 6. Last years just looked better and blew the the ZOOM 5 outta' the water. And why are they dropping so many colors of the Kobe Zoom 7, they still have the ZOOM 6 on the shelves for near retail....
