Classics Revisited: Nike Air Foamposite One – Black – Varsity Red (2007)

Following up on yesterday’s spotlight on the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Blackout’ in our resurrected Classics Revisited section, let’s take a look at the second new Foamposite colorway of 2007 – the October Quickstrike release of the Black/Varsity Red. Much like the ‘Blackout’, this all-new Foamposite thought featured a solid black Foamposite upper, but changed things up with a solid Varsity Red outsole as well on the accompanying detail on the tongue and heel. Three years later in 2010, Nike Sportswear returned with a similar Black/Red colorway (known as the ‘Cough Drop’), providing a bit of distinction with a slightly darker, translucent outsole. If you’re still on the hunt for the original Nike Air Foamposite One Black/Varsity Red of 2007, there are some available pairs right now on eBay.

i think its interesting and it shows u how much has changed since these came out... all of these sat on the shelves... the all black... black with red bottom and black with green bottom all went on sale racks... now its just gotten insane i kinda of wish it would go back to the way it was...
I actually really like da cough drops... red is my favorite color but jus an overall simple shoe which made them really hot... maaaaaadd people slept on those. Back when these youngins werent foam heads. Now everybody wants every foam dat drops.... hyyyype kills huh

No it was 2005 because I have these and I just checked the tag in the shie to make sure I can even take a pic and email it you. Although its not that serious, seeing is beliveing.
