Nike LeBron X – Catalog Sneak Peek

The Nike LeBron 9 has been such a major success and it’s actually quite shocking that there are still a few major releases on their way. With this weekend’s Varsity Maize and the early-June ‘Miami Vice’ releases ending the LeBron 9 chapter on a high-note (unless there are more Elites scheduled), some sneakerheads and LeBron loyalists are already looking toward the LeBron X and the possible game-changing materials and architecture that will set the series to new heights. These early catalog sneak peeks reveals a number of elements – Hyperfuse, visible Zoom Air (talk about a long-time coming), and thick Flywire cables like the ones seen in the upcoming Nike Lunar Hyperdunk+ (remind you of that prototype sample from last September?). Will the LeBron X feature Nike+ Basketball technology? How expensive will the shoe be? Can we count on another South Beach/Miami Vice colorway? I have talked to a lot of people at the nike HQ and they all say there is going to be a two versions. one going for about 225 and the other 315. I myself was lucky enough to hold a early sample of them along with a sample of the kd V's which will have a visable air unit with 'visizoom" inside the unit.

I can see it now. The pics come out. 90% of ppl hate them. But the sellout in every store. I'm a fan of LBJ and his line but if Nike raises the price of these like they're doing to retro Jordan's, I'm good. I'll just find bargains on eBay, Amazon, and Craigslist

I heard the shoe will have zoom air max 360, a combination of zoom air and a 360 unit. Really excited to try it out as well as those new flywire cables.

I have a feeling the heat will win a ring this year, which will further hype the Xs. I have become a huge fan of the lebron line and hope they don't disappoint
These will probably be 180 and the version with the Nike+ is gonna be around 250-315 price range. (Because Nike wouldn't make their signature athlete's shoe that unaffordable where they all would be 250 and up). The extra 10 is probably for the zoom max unit

and yes there is a South Beach version for the Lebron X. There will be a South Beach for every future model. Most of us couldn't even imagine a Lebron line without the South Beach cw.

I hear this a lot but it is simply false. The Bred colorway of Air Jordans was/is because The Bulls colours are black and red. The Heat colours? Black and Red, which is why all of the most common general releases in the past two years are the "bred" lebrons. Yes, the "South Beach" colorway is very popular, but it is not comparable to what "bred" is to JB. Furthermore, the "South Beach" Lebron 9 Elites are very different from the 8's. They look more "Marty McFly" to me than anything, where as the black and red of Air Jordans is always the same.
I think they are comparable... I mean.. you wouldn't say Lebrons are most popular in black/red, they are general release and nobody goes crazy over them, and they don't sell out. And they purposely went a different direction for the SB 9, they said they didn't want to release the exact same cw just on the new model. Also, if you slapped the SB8 colors onto the Elite 9 it probably wouldn't even look good. I think they did a great job with the Elite 9 SB while still keeping the South Beach heritage intact. Don't be surprised if the X SB will also be a little bit different from the 9. and don't be surprised if the X or XI bring back the Retro color from the 8s.
i'm not surprised to see hard/straight lines, it seems like for the last 5 years the lebron models have switched between angular one year then amorphic the next year
