Continuing our week-long featurette on Foamposite Ones of the past for Classics Revisited is a look at the third and final new colorway of 2007 – the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Bright Cactus’, aka the Cactus Foams. The Cactus Foams capped off a strong come-back year for the Foamposite One, which began with the ‘Royal’ in January and followed by the Blackout (August) and Varsity Red (October). The Air Foamposite One ‘Bright Cactus’ provided the energetic twist to the stoic Blackout and clean-and-simple Varsity Red, and opened the doors to brightly-colored Foamposites of the future like the ‘Neo Lime‘ (2011) and ‘Electrolime‘ (2012). The Cactus Foams are a highly coveted item and deadstock pairs are few and far in-between, but check out what’s available now on eBay.
Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Bright Cactus’
Probably 1 of da most underrated foam... plenty people slept on these when they dropped... 1 of my favorites foams to drop tho. Real simple & came out clean. Plus u can them frum a distance lol
love this shoe. and its held up perfectly over the years. I know the official color is cactus but I call mine the "Pollen" Foams. I don't live around any cacti but plenty of pollen lol
These were amazing. I'm not the type to wear the electrolime foams that came out but these are one of my favorites, along with the dark armys
They look like someone stepped on baby shit. When they dropped they were on sale everywhere in NYC. No one really copped. The ones that dropped last year with the clear green sole were suppose to drop instead of these. Then last mintue these ugly things dropped. Of course of they came back out idiots will line up for em like they did with the ugly electro lime joints.
Still got 'em. Love 'em. Wish I could've grabbed the ones that dropped last year with the translucent green sole.
love the cactuses. wish nike would start releasing some foams with a solid sole instead of the clear bottoms.
they had the black with solid red bottom too but they never went on sale and i waited too long and then BAM! they were gone
