LeBron James – nine seasons, 3 MVP awards. But during his acceptance speech that was held on the floor of American Airlines arena, LeBron deflected the honor and praise to his family, his coaches, his teammates, and all the other support that has brought him to this point – a third MVP award in four NBA seasons. This great honor has earned him another title as Nike’s ‘Employee of the Year’, and with that title comes its own hardware - a special ‘MVP’ edition of the Nike LeBron 9; blocked in the traditional Miami Heat colors with a red-to-black gradient on the upper, yellow accents, an MVP logo on the heel, and the MVP trophies lined on the interior, this special edition of the Nike LeBron 9 will in fact release to the public in limited quantities next month.
If you can recall, the MVP edition of the Air Max LeBron VII was never released (although a few pairs made it out to lucky hands) possibly due to the backlash of ‘The Decision’, but fortunately that won’t be the case as the Nike LeBron 9 ‘MVP’.
