For fans of this all-time great currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, the subtle yet strong set of Nike Air Max 1s we previewed last week for Q3 are almost as good as an OG Red + Blue Quickstrike. That glimpse into the future revealed new palettes and material combinations on two of this year’s hottest blocking patterns, but unfortunately for some, the pair pictured above is also subject to another of the Air Max 1’s most significant recent trends: they’re for women. That means that while you can add 1.5 to your US mens size to find a pair of this Mint Candy and Obsidian combo, guys past a certain point won’t even have that as an option. These are the latest in a fairly large set of solid if superb AM1s for ladies only that stretches back almost as far as the Nike Sportswear division itself; how many guys out there will do what it takes to get in a pair of this July release currently available for pre-order from Titolo?
