The Air Jordan VII represents the fusion of Nike’s Huarache series with influences derived from African tribal art, the latter of which in particular contributed lines that make this one of the most intricate and thus blocking option-heavy designs in the entire Air Jordan Legacy. The Sevens played with wild color schemes in a way that’d previously only been hinted by standouts like the ‘Grape’ AJ5, and two of the most memorable OGs are marked by their purples among a series of other bright pops against black nubuck. A fiercer and more Bulls-friendly expression of this colorful envelope pushing than the ‘Bordeaux’ pair retroed last year is this Air Jordan 7 we’ve come to know in recent years as the ‘Raptors’. They come off like a classic Playoff-time Jordan but the select purple hits and just a taste of yellow on the sole makes these every bit the ’92 flashback-inducing time capsule piece as ‘Baby Got Back’. Are these ‘too sexy’ to pass during an Olympic summer where we’ll be getting not only a few other AJ7s but also a ton of other Air Jordan heat? We’ve ‘Save[d] the Best for Last’ with some nice new close-ups after the jump, so click through and let us know where these rank on your summertime shopping list. Photos: Marquee Sole

I have a pair of 02s and until I see these in person.....I will not compare these. JB is not getting a pass that easy from a few pics. They look good in the pics, but we will see. I hope they are though so I can wear these and keep the 02s DS *FINGERS CROSSED*
So someone please correct me if am wrong. But aren't these technically considered the charcoal 7's and not raptors? Aren't the raptors similar but instead of all black they have that off black/grey color?
So obviously the theme for the 7's is 1992. So with that said, with the release of the Olympic 7 and the Char/Rap (whatever you wanna call'em) 7's does this mean we should be expecting a release date for the "HARES" sometime this year or next?
these are done very nicely, but im so sick of jordans right now. even things like the royal 10s and cool grey 12s are damn near impossible to cop. let alone things like these 7s and white cement 4s
so we got to see pics of these mofos everyday until they drop! No matter how many times i see this pair i will say pass!
^^^^^ IF YOU KNOW YOUR KICKS YOU WOULD KNOW THOSE ARE THE OG LACES NOT THE FLAT ONES. . . SMH "KIDS"
Hope i can find a way to get 2 pairs. One to keep clean and wear occasionally and one to play ball in.
these were my first pair of jordans before i got mega rich and famous. I just through these away since i can afford gucci and louie now!
i got sooo sweaty in my last retros from getting f***** up from behind those boys on the basketball court and off that i need some new ones. ahh the raptors lol. brings back memories
uhhhh that all black would be the raptors ^^^^^^ and the off black/grey would be the charcoals (hence the name charcoal) you got it backwards
if YOU knew YOUR kicks YOU would know that these are the 02 laces the og's had flat like all the other og 7s. smh another hypebeast that exposed himself trying to pretend to have knowledge.^^^^^^^^
these do look kinda like the 2002's, better than the DMP look, but still not satisfied, id just need to find a pair of OG's
So what were guys doing behind you that got you soooo sweaty. That does not sound good bro, what kind of ball were you playing?
Go ahead those wont last long at all. OG's aren't meant to last forever but go ahead and be fooliah trying to find an over priced.outdated beaten more likely air jordan 7
if i find a ds pair of og's for under 450 id cop and wear every once in a while, nothing foolish bout that
