Marvel x Reebok Blast “Chamber”
June 5th, 2012 by Aaron Hope | 8 comments

While he’s not as famous as Wolverine or Captain America, the latest Marvel hero to grace an RBK collaboration is arguably the best fit for his silhouette, out of the entire 10-shoe collection. This Marvel Comics x Reebok Blast ‘Chamber’ is inspired by a Jono Starsmore’s alter ego, a character who mutated to possess the ability to send out energy blasts from his chest. Not only is the sneaker name a direct hit, but both Chamber and the revised Nick Van Exel sig have their origins in 1996 (that’s when the Blast initially released and Chamber’s backstory was explained; he had debuted in a 1994 issue of Generation X). Have a closer look at all the details packed into this time capsule design and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and the rest of the Marvel x Reebok collabo.
