adidas resurrected it for lifestyle purposes in the mid ’00s and then Jeremy Scott took the Metro Attitude to new heights with all his wacky winged and bear-plushed designs. But the JS Wings weren’t the first major alteration to this 1986 Three Stripes basketball flagship; that distinction belongs to the adidas Originals Torsion Attitude, a ’90s baby that’s been brought back to life here with a slight adjustment to its height and ankle collar. The smooth-out means these read less like today’s high-ankle/low-heel roundball performance machines and more like a classic from the same period to which the Metro Attitude traces its roots. Check them out up close below, then find yours available at select adidas accounts like LDRS1354.
