A brand new Nike Air Max2 release hasn’t hit retailers in nearly twenty years, but even teenage sneakerheads are familiar with its iconography thanks to CB34 and Uptempo retro releases. Today we get our first taste of that unmistakable mid-’90s style in a brand new package as the Air Max Griffey II’s unique midsole and heel counter meet up with Hyperfuse and a heckuvan aggressive midfoot strap on the Nike Air Max Express. Four colorways have just arrived at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Extra Butter, ranging from high-impact golden era aggression to a more subdued style in the black/Pine Green pairing.
