Vans is readying the next sneaker in the Artist Series set of releases for the Vans Half Cab, this time aligning that 20 year old icon with another pop culture milestone that’s nearing its 30th year, Metallica’s debut album Kill ‘Em All. The record turns thirty next year, with that birthday being preceded by this deep and dark release that sports plenty of references to the piece of work, including some lyrics from “Motorbreath” etched into the jet black midsoles. Click through with us to check out the latest installment in the Metallica x Vans saga and look out for these next month at select skate shops like Blacklist.
