Asics Gel Saga II “Kill Bill”

Asics Gel Saga II “Kill Bill”

Asics Gel Saga Ii Kill Bill 1

Uma Thurman’s precision sword weilding injected the Mexico 66 with a bit of the testosterone it had lost as an early ’00s emo staple, so with another Kill Bill film on tap for the near future, it’s hard to see a yellow and black Asics classic and not think of Beatrix Kiddo.  Codename ‘Black Mamba’ offed her foes in a style borrowed from Bruce Lee and their themes have since merged into a murderous look inspiring Kobe Bryant’s and other Nikes over the past few years.  Seeing blood red splattering on the midsole of this 2013 Asics Gel Saga II makes you wonder if Quentin Tarantino’s eagerly anticipated follow-up has already made its first splash, so stick with Sneaker News to see if this turns out to be a collaboration (even if it’s unlikely given KB3’s ’14 ETA and the likelihood that date gets pushed back), and check out some more shots below in the meantime.
