Wale gets his sneakers early, you know this already. But the MMG affiliated rapper has a special connection with one Kevin Durant, perhaps affording him even more of a jump on the rest of us when it comes to the Nike Zoom KD releases. That connection would be a regional one, both men are Washington DC natives and Kevin Durant has even popped up on Wale’s mixtapes from time to time. The connection is flexed here as Wale shows off a super bright yellow and blue pair of the Nike Zoom KD IV that hasn’t hit retail as of yet (although there’s still a possibility of that so don’t give up hope).
