Kevin Durant enters the 2012-13 NBA season with a chance to join an elite club of players who’ve won four scoring titles, and with four in a row, he will stand alone with Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain (who racked up seven and six consecutive, respectively). That’s some impressive company, and its a feat made all the more likely now that Durant and Russell Westbrook will take on more of the scoring load without close friend and Olympic teammate James Harden. KD was “Wow”ed and understandably saddened by the Harden trade, and this new ‘Blackout’ Nike KD V sample has an accordingly somber tone. The blackout look is an annual staple for most Nike Basketball styles and looks particularly sharp here with the crisp, clear outsole, but are they the best Zoom KD 5s we’ve seen to date?
