Thunder precedes lightning unless you’re dangerously close, but for a fortunate group this week, ‘Thunder’ will be following directly after a ‘Bred’ touchdown. Just a day after potentially the most anticipated release of the entire year on Friday, the Air Jordan IV ‘Thunder’ returns this Saturday, December 22nd with its first retro after six years on the sidelines. These being pushed back from pre-Black Friday until the week before Christmas makes the next short while even more interesting for sneakerheads; have a look at more official images and let us know where your priorities lie over winter break.

No 'Nike Air' on the back, i pass as always. Jordans were good when they were a Nike WITH a jumpman. These 'all jordan' jumpmans can go suck a d*ck. The 'Nike Air Jordan' was an exciting and popular famous shoe. These Jordan Jordans are just the same old tired rehashed retro's with continuing cheaper quality designed to manipulate the kids so that the MAN Jordan can have another beach house. Give us the REAL sneaker that we all bought back in the day that made the MAN popular.
@caseyflinders FYI Thunder IVs NEVER had a Nike Air logo on the back..... And Jordans ARE and ALWAYS WILL BE Nike Air Jordans. They all consist of Nike Air soles. Just sayin

@caseyflinders the Thunders never had "Nike Air" on the back, they stopped putting "Nike Air" on the back of Jordan 4 Retros in 99 i believe, and these aren't an OG colorway in the first place, so i don't think they should have a "Nike Air" logo anyway

@caseyflinders I really don't understand how the back logo changes things so much... it would still be the same exact Chinese built/quality, but with a different logo? Please explain why having Nike Air on the back would make these so much better.

Not sure where everybody's at but if anybodys by ValleyFair Mall in San Jose California, I'll trade a pair of bred Xi's sz10.5 for Thunder IV's sz10. Straight across. No Paypal BS.

I didn't think i was going to be able to secure a pair of these, so I did a lot of work! I secured 2 pair & then my main plug said the shipment was in... Now I got 3 pair! Lol I'm only copping 1 though & giving the other 2 to my boys who wanted these just as bad as me! Still can't believe I get to cop the thunders for 160! Saw a guy in the Lightnings at HOH when they did the tickets for the Bred 11's! That's a nice shoe... I'm glad nobody really caught wind of these because the of breds! S/O 2 the hypebeast for that! Lol

I raffled everywhere for a second pair on sunday and it was crowded. I called champs today just a few hours ago and the guy told me that ppl wasnt picking up the phone and asked me what size I need. He said ok come gettem saturday, so I advise ppl to call and see if there still open to get bcuz they only call once sometimes they call twice. So call yall local spots and yall might get lucky.
