Now that the Air Jordan III is coming back with the ‘Nike Air’ treatment on the back, we’re certain that plenty of folks have their imagination working overtime trying to dream up which retro they’d most like to see with that same treatment. There’s no doubt that the Air Jordan VI ‘Carmine’ would be a coveted one if it ever came back in that fashion, as the sneakers have only ever had the retro treatment once before. Then again, you don’t have to imagine-you can just pick up a vintage pair and make it happen yourself. Check out this 1991 Air Jordan VI OG in the ‘Carmine’ colorway after the jump and then bid on the pair from yzer450 on eBay.

These appear to be preserved real well. Some signs of age but I've seen sneakers half that age that look bad just from storage.

These haven't been announced as a potential release for this year. They're releasing the maroons which got nothing on these here carmines. I wish they would retro these.
