Reebok Kamikaze II “Reign Man”

It’s about time some non-OG high-energy colorways of the Reebok Kamikaze II makes its way to retail, but not to worry because the wait for this sick rain-camo “Reign Man” release is getting shorter and shorter. The graphic on the upper is an obvious connection to Shawn Kemp’s nickname of his hey-dey, when the Sonics forward viciously posterized anyone who dared to get in his way, but also a tie in to the fact that Seattle is known for its wet weather. It’s all coming together perfectly for Reebok and the re-issue of the Kamikaze II, with the Sonics returning to Seattle and a once non-existent Shawn Kemp now turning up the appearances and interviews with teammate Gary Payton. UK retailer Crooked Tongues is releasing these today in limited number, but stay tuned to Sneaker News for updated release information for U.S. locations.
