It’s sad that the Nike LeBron 9 Elite didn’t have a longer life-span, because all of those crazy sample colorways like the ‘China’, ‘Volt Dunkman’, and more could’ve hit stores. Unfortunately, Nike was extremely selective with its Elite-level releases, dropping only the Home/Away combo, the Taxi, the Miami Vice, and later the Championship colorway as part of the Pack, but luckily for us sneaker customizers have looked to the Elite as the perfect canvas for unthinkable creations. SmoothTip recently fashioned the Elite in the jaw-dropping Watch The Throne style, adding the sick Givenchy-inspired graphic on the inner lining as well as on the laces and the crazy golden jewel-piece on the laces. We’ve got a gallery below so check out this amazing work below and let us know if you think more Elite releases should’ve gone down.
@NickBartzis what?! These are horrible but to me the elite 9s are the best lebron's.... Like the 7's a lot too though.
@LueMoua yes they are. i just cannot see custom elite 9s. look above, they raped the sneaker once again! they made a lot of crappy custom works on elite 9s in general. i was only talking for that. actually the only lebrons i have are 9 elites south beach.
