New Balance has released one colorway per season on the 30th Anniversary 990 since the series began last November. 2012 got the greys, ’13 started with navy then added black and now we’re on to what figures to be the most expressive of the set. This New Balance 990 (v1, if you’re more familiar with the modernized v3) is cast in a rich burgundy suede and mesh, contrasted by reflective silver branding and laces, all atop the luxurious Vibram sole. Look for these to be as in demand as the greys that have proven this line’s most popular to date when the July scheduled release arrives at Feature shortly.
