Nike Zoom Flight ’98 The Glove

Nike Zoom Flight ’98 The Glove

Nike The Glove Black White 1

Nike Basketball is undoubtedly the fastest growing and evolving line in Nike history. It’s hard to really pinpoint where it took off, but the late 90’s deserves some extra notice as that short era experienced a major boom thanks to developments like the Monkey Paw construction seen on the Nike Zoom Flight ’98 The Glove. Basically, a sturdy cage wrapped around the foot (as if a monkey’s paw was wrapped around your heel), giving super fast point guards like Gary Payton the needed stability when knifing through the paint. Although this type of build structure is out of use, Monkey Paw definitely shares the same ideology as Flywire in a sense, although the latter has become the preferred material as it is much lighter. In any case, we project The Glove to be popular on the basketball courts as well, so peep this full detailed gallery of the Black/White pair and stay tuned for full release info on this exciting Retro release.
