nike kd 6 dissected Nike KD 6 Dissected

The upcoming season’s performance basketball footwear adds another pair to its list of dissected exhibits with the operation depicted above.  This time it’s one of Nike Basketball’s big three signature shoes, as following up on the Hyperdunk 2013 and Jordan Super.Fly 2s seen a little while ago is the Nike KD 6.  The ‘NYC 66′ colorway is a fitting one to rip up given that’s exactly what Kevin Durant himself did at Rucker Park that inspired the story behind it, and in the process, we see how every single piece of this superbly engineered design is critical with nothing extra in the way of its lightweight brilliance.  Click through to see the KD 6 pulled apart and let us know if the tech inside makes them your shoe of choice for the coming season.

I been collecting and loving shoes since 1993 and I never once considered myself a sneakerhead. I be damned to associate myself with that community. I'm justa cool ass dude who loves shoes. I can sit for hours and just look at the bottom of a shoe. I remember the little circles (dots) on the bottom of my red and black reebox classics (we call em soldiers in the south) when I was in the 1st grade. Those were my first name brand shoes! I kept those suckers fresh with a toothbrush and dawn liquid soap. Tell you the truth I like were the tech technology is going with shoes these days, I just don't like the fruity Pebble faggot homosexual Rainbow colors. I never wore pink, growing up in my days negros would get they ass whooped for wearing pink! They talk about bullying in today's society, hell back than you would get your teeth knocked out and go home and get another one knocked out for not fighting than sent back outside to fight again! The world is soften these kids up nowadays! The faggot colors have to stop! Bruh I'm about to get off here before they call the police on me! Hahaha... Anyway stay doing you bruh, don't stop rocking fly kicks just buy cheaper ones. It's still nice shit out there for good prices.i use military discount soi can't complain. Peace bruh

Ya'll don't care about prices these sites got ya'll hooked on anything nike..They already know mostly everything their producing is selling out so they projected 36 billion in revenue by 2017 since everyone is throwing their cash at em even with price hike's and raffle systems in place. Nike saying, "they'll pay anything plus waste gas, time and all their cash to get our shoes. Fuck our customer's with no ky jelly, they like it"! Few more retro's and I'm out the game I got over 85 different retro color way's OG, BIN, player and team exclusives..I'm good hope ya'll like the camping and new price's I grabbed mine while they hadn't started the, "rape em' raw with now ky jelly campaign"!http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2013/10/20/nikes-2017-objectives-36-billion-in-revenue.aspxEdit (in 4 minutes)

@qtbigwatts it scares me that you're in the military. Such a close-minded backward thinking approach. People are different and have bettered themselves since those times. Time to move on and stop the hating.

85 different retros??? So you already spent A LOT of cash??? Let others do it in peace

Been in this life (not game) since 13.... I've never waited/camped or raffled for any shoe. I wouldn't stop buying shoes just because of Nike revenue. Nike will never go broke sir Hate to break the news to you. Let folks buy whatever they want, I'm pretty sure you buy stuff that some folks won't spend their money on. You worried about Nike??? Stop buying gas while your at it too, because that's billions of dollars in revenue. Stop eating, stop taking baths, stop drinking beverages, stop your life, stop watching movies, stop watching sports because everything you do cost and makes others rich. Get my drift!? Peace

When you look inside of it, you can pretty much see how its made. Once the insole is removed, all the guts are gone. lol. I still wanna see it though.

You must like the homosexual fruity gum pop colors! I don't mind the new loud shit I just don't understand the pink for a boy or man. When at birth as a male you don't get pink everything you get blue everything! Those times are still here my brother! Pink equals split and blue equals dick. It's logic

This is hilarious so you mean to say shoes are a necessities like gas for transportation to make money that buys your food to stay fed.. never said I thought Nike was going broke, I was simply stating facts about their future endeavors to raise profit margins. I buy Nikes and I'm about to be out this "life" since I've obtained more than a fair share of Jordan's/ nikes throughout my collecting days without the hassles of camping and raffle systems in place, as well. I'm just enlightening other's about what's occurring since the hype has reached all time highs.. I'm not by no means stopping anyone from getting their shoes and I got respect for the die hard collectors that got to have their shoes, I was doing that back in the day and locked up a prime connection to get what I needed without the hassles others endure in securing their pair(s).By no means will my comment stop anything it simply sheds light on the issues that affect the rise in prices. More demand = higher prices. So do what makes you happy and buy what pleases you as anyone should..

Yup, it's sad when you see these females that you know don't do any type of athletics wearing shoes intended for basketball..come on at least do some sort of physical activities and get use out of a $160+ dollar pair of shoes.. or them big old' dudes that couldn't run down across the street without getting winded needing some Jordan's to immediately put creases and cracks in their mid soles ,but who are we to say what they spend their hard earned money on. Guess if their Jordan or Nike fan's we'll just have to accept that some use their shoes as fashion statements opposed to their intended purposes. I actually hooped today in my OG redwood 14's and hear kids saying to their friends when did those come out. They really didn't follow Mj's career and love to catch his game's habitually like us die hard sneaker heads.. and they wonder why they get the label hype beast constantly thrown their way.. It's just something they like to post on their Facebook, Twitter or instagram profiles to feel a sense of achievement. But back when the bull's were winning and mike was plain crossing and trash talking opponents like Barkley, olajawan, mutumbo, and Malone with many more great stars of his time not to take anything away from them. Where were these kids that camp for shoes at? In elementary school learning math or their ABC's. Maybe not even a twinkle in their daddy's ball sack, lol. But since they got a Lil internet lesson on his past they feel they're his die hard fans.. maybe his hyped up royalty payment contribution fan squad. But never a real fan that caught game in and out of his. It's never gonna stop long as they got the internet. Mark my words.. good talking to a true sneaker head ..stay up bro..

Already.... Just shedding light on you shedding light about these jacked up prices! I'm pretty sure that all of us that are getting older (30 yrs old) sees it, just like when my uncle use to tell me about 60-100 dollar pair of shoes being crazy! But I never said shoes was a necessity, but on that subject they are. No shoes, no shirt, no service, hahaha... They are needed just not the high dollars that we buy too many of. Is that hilarious? You and I aren't the only ones that see these ridiculous prices! Nor have I camped/waited in line for a pair of shoes, but some folks like/don't mind it. Hell I remember going into Footlocker in 2009 and grabbing some Jordan playoff 13's two weeks after release. It is a shame that everybody and they Momma is grabbing shoes that they don't know anything about (history)... I seen a Spanish lady (around 35-40) in target with some Jordan 12's flu game shoes on and my son told her what shoes she had on and she replied I didn't know that, I just picked em up because they were the new Jordans. But I guess that's a reason for most they're just Jordans. Crazy to me,though. It's getting stupid crazy everyday. Maybe it'll die down in a few years and only us true shoe collectors/wearers will be left
