The Flight SC-2 is a shoe Jordan Brand hasn’t released in a new colorway since just prior to the 2012 Olympics. It’s been out of the rotation for well over a year now, so even if it was a bit later than expected, it’s only natural to see the next model in the series succeed the 2s. The Jordan SC-3, like the SC-1 (which recently returned in lowtop form), reverts to midsole tooling closer to the Jordan III than IV. The upper is where the more significant shift occurs, in that aside from possibly those three eyelets you could envision with Elephant print in the middle, this design doesn’t as much draw on that late ’80s golden age. A slightly more modern approach to the casual basketball retro, the Jordan SC-3 has just released at retailers like Sneaker Bistro.

They need to stop recycling that damn midsole.

@DocBill1Agreed. But it's such a cost-saving move for them. Just stamp out a few hundred thousand and they're good to go.
