No that’s not the Nike Air Max Uptempo 2. What you’re looking at is a modernized take on that shoe, one that decides to outfit the bottom with an Air Max set up. Interesting to note is the fact that the official model name misses out on the “2” and instead calls the sneaker the Nike Air Max SQ Uptempo Zoom. Continue reading to see a more complete set of images for this model and then tell us in the comments if you approve of the remix treatment. And, if so, keep in mind you can pick up a pair today from the team at Sneakerhead.
Nike Air Max SQ Uptempo Zoom
Color: University Red/Black-Anthracite
Style Code: 630924-600
Air Max Uptempo 2 is name in last retro.
But 95's Original model name is Air max 2 uptempo.
(I don't know why nike change tha model name. sometimes they don't have rule..)
2 means square, Max square is kind of Air-sole unit in middle of 90's.
So this time remove 2, and put Sq. it means also Square.
@trentbg The Air Up still looks the same at least. In my opinion the Air Up has better aesthetics now but it isn't given the credit because it doesn't have suede now. They killed this shoe.
Mess up??? Nothing wrong with making a model better. Some shoes shouldn't be changed but these weren't "iconic" I use that word because it seems like that's the only word people know when talking about revolutionary legendary bad-ass sneakers
