Last night, we wrapped up the month of April with 10 major sneaker headlines that defined the jam-packed month. As we begin the month of May, we expect an even larger volume of breaking news for a number of reasons – the NBA Playoffs, the 2014 World Cup, the French Open, and all the other major dates in the annual sneaker calendar. There are some items in here that you may be keen on, but if you’re not sure where to take the first step in mapping out what may go down this month, look no further.
Starting off, we expect Nike to come with a special edition colorway of the KD 6 to celebrate Durant’s MVP and/or Scoring Title. Following that, major sporting events like the French Open of Tennis and the World Cup are likely to produce some themed kicks as well. We don’t want to spoil it all here, so check out some of the headlines and predictions we expect to surface in the next 31 days and let us know what you might be looking forward to.
