The Nike Air Command Force retro just got rescheduled to November 8th, 2014. The good news is that the dominant big man’s shoe from the early 90s is in fact returning in original form and that includes a functioning Air-Fit pump technology, we just have to wait a few more weeks for it. Everything about this shoe was larger than life, from the silhouette that towers over other “high” tops in comparison to the bold ‘Force’ tongue logo. The real question here is whether we’ll see a Center or Power Forward in today’s game bold enough to break out the retro in a league that’s always going smaller and quicker, and the footwear only mirrors that change. With other brands like Reebok’s Pump series and even the resurgence of Ewing Athletics, it’s nice to see Nike now occupy the same space of true and through retros for the 4-5 positions. Check out more detailed images of the Command Force retro after the click and head to our release dates page for an updated look at the sneaker lanscape for the rest of 2014.
