Premier Skate Reveals The Concept Behind Their Upcoming Nike SB Collaboration

Premier Skate Nike Sb Salmon Toe Collection 03

Michigan’s own Premier Skate is back with an awesome Nike SB collaboration for Saturday, November 14th. Known as the Nike SB “Fish Ladder” Collection, one of the Midwest’s finest skateshops takes two classic silhouettes in the Nike SB Dunk Low and the Nike SB Janoski Max and revitalizes the uppers thanks to fish scales and a salmon-colored toebox for good measure. The aesthetic is meant to represent the journey that salmon take, traveling hundreds of miles upstream and how skaters migrate in a similar pattern by going against societal expectations. What results is a trendy salmon toe look that even manages to use that tissue-paper pattern found on so many Nike SB releases in honor of the wavy salmon skin texture. The ominous black upper is interrupted by a realistic fish scale texture that adds a certain shiny element. Which pair are you feeling? Check out more official photos below and grab both the Dunk and Janoski on 11/14.
