The Nike Zoom Flight Bonafide Releasing In Multi-Color Flyknit

Nike Zoom Bonafide Multi Color
Updated May 5th, 2017: The Nike Flight Bonafide “Multi-Color” releases on May 11th, 2017 for $150.

If the name Ben Kirschner sounds familiar, it’s because the Nike Sportswear designer was the man behind the Nike SF-AF1, perhaps NSW’s most celebrated new design of the Fall/Winter season. His latest creation remixes the Nike Zoom Flight 95, a fan-favorite basketball model from the mid-90s worn by basically every point guard in the league during that time from a rookie Jason Kidd all the way to Terrell Brandon. The modernized update is now known as the Nike Zoom Bonafide and features a high-arching Flyknit woven upper that you’d more readily find on the likes of the Magista series than on a hoops silhouette with the addition of a heel zipper for easier access.

While the debut colorway remained a sample for Nike’s All-Star Celebration showing how much their hoops imprint has changed over the years, today we get a look at what could be the first retail release of the Nike Bonafide with a head-turning Multi-Color upper contrasting a black ankle sock and traditional carbon fiber hints on the bold futuristic midsole pods. We’re still unsure if this pair is ready to actually hoop in or will be more for lifestyle purposes given the lightweight slip-on Flyknit upper, but we’ll have to wait and see.
