It’s interesting to see how many woven-type uppers have emerged since Flyknit came onto the scene in 2012. Jacquard is the most prevalent version of this material being used in the NSW category as its already been seen in various Air Max 1, Air Max 90, and Air Max 95 styles. This latest update is from the first model mentioned with the updated lunar1 sole, with the upper Jacquard shell displaying that speedy stitching that’s been making waves over the last few weeks. Another key update on the Flyknit front – three colorways of the Nike Free Flyknit Chukka are releasing at select Nike Sportswear retailers on Thursday, August 28th. The popular mid-top silhouette got the Free-sole update earlier this year, and it appears that this tooling is what’s at the forefront given the fact that the Lunar variety has yet to appear since the trio of speckled-sole releases in early 2014. August 28th is the release date for any of the three colorways seen here, so get a detailed look and keep an eye out for these at your local spot.

The Air Jordan 13 Retro “Grey Toe” will be making a return in the forthcoming future, bringing back the suede grey tongue that was first present in the OG sample from 1998. The sneakers later released in early 2005 as a Retro, only the tongue was a white smooth leather and the red midsole was a nubuck-like material that let to unfortunate bleeding on the white midsoles.
