The Foamposite line continues to be the personal playground of team Sole Swap, whose specialty at this point is definitely those groovy looking Nike Air Penny sneakers. The latest custom is not a dye job or even a re-painting across the upper. Instead what’s been applied is an all-over 3M treatment to the Nike Air Foamposite One, leaving the sneakers looking stealthy enough in the daylight but giving them an insane flash when the light is right. How long do we have to wait till the original “Royal” version of the Nike Air Foamposite One comes back around again? The sneaker was retrod pretty recently, so we’d guess it won’t happen for another couple of years at least. But you will be able to grab a royally inclined pair this year anyway in the form of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Sport Royal” shown here. The release date hasn’t been locked down quite yet, but they appear to be on their way for a September arrival. So the Nike Foamposite took a strange turn when we first laid eyes on the funky “Weatherman” sample, with many of our readers being rather vocal regarding the overtly ornate colorways mocked up by the Nike team. This first look at yet another graphic print on a Foamposite should coerce a similar response for sure, as the Foamposite appears to explore outer space once again with an incredible gradient on the upper and outsole and what appears to be imagery of an asteroid belt. Most of them have been celestial, but this latest drop takes advantage of the timing on the edge of summer to celebrate another nightime light phenomenon. The ‘Fireflies’ Nike Air Foamposite One by Nift ‘Rocket Boy’ Ferrara makes reference to the immortal summer night passtime of catching lightning bugs with a design blending a starry sky with a forest landscape and GITD outsole treatment. Camouflage print has reigned supreme in 2013 sneakers, with all types ranging from Foamposites to adidas Campus 80s adorning the rugged graphic that has forever been a iconic fashion statement. But how’s it look on Foams? We got a glimpse of it in the Fighter Jets back in February, but this upcoming release takes on the true camo-print style with green, brown, black, and tan tones, but opts for a bit of contrast with the hits of Volt. A release date for the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Camo” has been confirmed for June 8th, but if you want to pick up a pair early, get one now from prc.kicks on eBay.

What will become of the Nike Air Max Hyperposite? The shoe has already become an outlet special, perhaps leading Nike to pull back a considerable bit on the retail releases. They might not be completely over though, as this Nike Air Max Hyperposite promises possible light at the end of the tunnel. The combination is that of minty green and a little bit of red, all boosted by some 3M graphics on the Hyperfuse part of the upper. The Nike Barkley Posite Max in metallic silver/gamma blue will release on June 1st. The blue speckled set up isn’t one entirely foreign to the Nike Foamposite category, having shown up before on the Nike Total Air Foamposite Max. This is no carbon copy colorway though, separating itself quite a bit from that shoe with the metallic silver that shines across the upper.
