Kobe Bryant has always been a work of art in motion when on the basketball court, which is why it was so sad that we only got to see him play a dozen or so games in the Nike Kobe 9 Elite last season. One of the more formidable releases of his ninth signature happened to be the Nike Kobe 9 Elite “Detail”, a sneaker that took inspiration from the Italian Renaissance and sculptor Michelangelo, as the pair featured a flywire upper supported by a marble like print. Dank Customs translated the look onto a pair of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Lows, giving the outsole and heel the cracked pattern while a custom heel loop features hints of red. Hit the click for a better view and let us know what you think of these customs in the comments.

This new option features a dual color gradient, starting at the the heel in one shade and working its way to the front toebox in an entirely different hue. The pair has been sought after ever since those HTM iterations surprisingly popped up at Nike Lab in New York City, and the Swoosh was kind enough to grant us all the opportunity to mimic those Multi-Color joints, if only for a brief time.
