Nike Flyknit Roshe Run – Light Charcoal – Dark Obsidian – Wolf Grey

It only took a few colorways for the Nike Flyknit Roshe Run to cement itself as a must have. The thinking behind it isn’t too difficult to follow – outfit the ever-popular and comfortable Roshe Run with a slimmer Natural Motion sole while ditching mesh for the coveted flyknit and voilĂ . Past releases like the “Random Yarn Color” stood out in part for the vibrance but we’ve received some tonal pairs as well. This “Light Charcoal” aesthetic fits into that category quite nicely with a muted, near heather grey speckling throughout the top. Nothing too flashy, just another solid look for everyday use. Stay tuned for a stateside release date, but just incase you can’t wait, the pair is available right now from select overseas retailers like Unisport.

The monochromatic look should make the shoe an easy wear, especially considering that near Army green is a perfect complement to a fall wardrobe. nike flyknit trainer fsb sp chukka white A Detailed Look at the Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB SP White

Tomorrow, Nike will release the all-white Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB at NikeLab retail locations and on the online store. Although all-white sneakers are mightily popular at the moment, could you see yourself rocking these on the regular, with the shoes being prone to getting dirty much more easily than another sneaker? What we do know, based on these new photos, is that the uppers are fortified with Scotchgard, which should beef up the defense against wear and tear. Check out these detailed photos below and look out for the official release tomorrow at NikeLab and other select NSW retailers.

nine at nine flyknits summary Sneaker News NINE@NINE: Fascinating Flyknits

When the Nike Flyknit technology was first introduced to the world in February of 2012, it was described as a “knit for performance to create running footwear that features only the essentials”. There were stats trotted out about the incredibly lightweight Flyknit Racer (5.6 ounces for a size 9) and plenty of words written about their second skin nature – a feeling that Nike has been trying to get at for decades now. Since that 2012 launch, Nike Flyknit has gone on to be a massive success, and has quickly spilled out of the running range that it was originally introduced with.

nike flyknit roshe run aqua Nike Flyknit Roshe Run Aqua

The Nike Flyknit Roshe Run has taken the Roshe category to premium new heights, with this weekend perhaps marking the apex at the arrival of the “Random Yarn Color” versions. This image suggests that there are pairs on the horizon that are just a bit more standard though. You’ll notice that this Nike Roshe Run with the Flyknit upper keeps the original sole on bottom rather than wear the Natural Motion one that has been the go-to. Get another angle on this upcoming “Aqua” Flyknit Roshe Run below and tell us if you’re glad to see the NM sole go.

No Nike Flyknit silhouette is complete without a “Multicolor” edition. Of course almost every pair of Flyknits incorporates more than one color in its yarns, but we’re talking about the full rainbow treatment here. Fortunately the Nike Flyknit Air Max will at least get close to that with this pair, which is currently floating around overseas. There’s no real reason to believe that this Nike Flyknit Air Max “Multicolor” won’t show up in the states, so if you’re patient enough you should be able to get your feet in them. Check out some more on feet angles after the break and stay with us for more on this Nike Flyknit Air Max release.

Nike Flyknit Roshe Run – Purple – Red

October 6th, 2014 by | No comments

nike flyknit roshe run purple red 01 Nike Flyknit Roshe Run Purple Red

Just incase you didn’t want to take the risk of what a pair of the Nike Flyknit Roshe Run “Random Yarn Color” would look like this past weekend (given that certain pairs exuded more purple than orange and vice versa) there looks to be a new Purple/Red colorway on the horizon as a nice consolation. While we’d love to see more multi-color flyknit atop the Roshe in the future, this clean pair highlighted by Hyper Crimson accents throughout and a white Natural Motion outsole marks the first time we’re seeing two accent colors work together on the build. What do you think? Be sure to check out the full image after the break and be on the lookout for a release date in the near future.
