Ostrich leather arrived as May’s Nike Air Force 1 iD special option, and today we have a handful of samples that demonstrate what’s possible with this notably nubby material. As you see from looking at these two fairly restrained colorways, both Air Force 1 High and Low are available in either traditional AF1 or Lunar Force 1 builds. Ostrich can be mixed with smooth leather to make the quill bumps even more striking, which is the whole point here with simple colorways adding a subtle if slightly wild twist. Stick with Sneaker News for the latest and let us know how these compare to last month’s pony hair zoo.

The Nike TW ’14 will be the first golf trainer from the Swoosh camp to make it onto NIKE iD. Its arrival in that coveted customizable range will happen on the same day as the sneaker’s retail release proper-June 7th. The whole simultaenous debut of a sneaker at retail and on NIKE iD is a frequent choice these days, one that we’d have to imagine undermines the base model’s ability to have any true signature colorways just a bit. Continue reading to see some quick samples and give us a shout in the comments if the Nike TW ’14 iD is a model you’ll be cooking up come next month.

The whole “What The” concept is one we’ve seen spread to a ton of sneakers by now. The mash-up theme, originally hitting on the Nike SB Dunk Low, is one we’ve seen come from the NIKE iD scene a few times as well. Here’s one of those, a Nike Air Force 1 Low from the supreme Bespoke level of customization created by DJ Clark Kent and featured in the film Lottery Ticket. Get a refresher on the sneakers after the jump and check out the pair available now from hennyxo119 on eBay.

Over the years, many dedicated AF1 appreciators have come forward to map out and execute a Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke design. Those who have stepped up to the challenge have each set out to create a supremely unique design that not only expresses individuality, but also allows each creator to leave their personal mark on the hallowed Air Force 1 legacy with their very own 1 of 1. This latest offering comes from Vandal-A, who we know as an indie producer of some of the best sneaker-related graphic tees the game has ever seen. Shifting over from tees to the Air Force 1 as his palette, he presents a tasty concept that seamlessly blends elements of two of atmos’s most legendary Air Max 1 releases (the “Safari” and “Viotech”). The shoe is brought to life through some tasteful color and material choices, using predominantly earth-toned leather, canvas and suede, while incorporating some never-done-before Bespoke details like the embroidered mini-Swoosh at the forefoot and the massive lasered ‘AIR’ on the cork heel. Sneaker News has a full detailed gallery of Vandal-A‘s Air Force 1 vision after the jump, so continue on for a better look and let us know what you think and where these stack up against some of the other memorable Bespoke creations we’ve seen.

It’s not uncommon to see someone craft a tribute sneaker with their Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke experience, using the Uptown silhouette to create a nod to a previous Swoosh banger. That appears to be the aim taken by Nagata here, who designed this gum-bottomed Nike Air Force 1 Low. The pair is shown next to a vintage Nike catalog featuring a sneaker that looks close to the likes of the Nike Daybreak, but 21 Mercer hasn’t provided any background info at this point. Tell us if you think this was a good use of the Bespoke program and stay tuned to see what comes out of the studio next.

Nike iD was a convenient way to get your own 1-of-1 sneakers without having to look for a proper sneaker customizer, and even today, with such a broad library of available footwear models to customize to your own liking, Nike iD has become more popular than ever. Even sneaker customizers have taken advantage of iD offerings, like with this “Stash” inspiration completed by Dank Customs. Using a pair he created on Nike iD, Dank added a few grey panels, speckling, new laces, and a tongue label from the Air Max 90 “Laser Blue” – a rather efficient way to create a banger of a custom. More below, so take a look and let us know what special iDs you have cooked up in your closet!
